This programme, also helps to decrease the incidence of sexual assault and domestic violence, and also to challenge the dispel myths which condone and perpetuate violence against women regionally, statewide and nationally.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline helps to link individuals to help in their own area using a nationwide database that includes detailed information on domestic violence shelters, other emergency shelters, legal advocacy and assistance programs, and social service programs.
