Our Mother was of European heritage, Lithuanian to be specific, and escaped Lithuania to Germany when the Russian's began invading.  There she met my Father and two years later I was born.  When I was 2 years old we migrated to Australia.  My Mum was a strong woman, lived a hard life of poverty, but we were always well fed, clean and much loved.  We were her priority.  I have two sisters, Loretta and Violetta.

My Beloved Mother joined Our Lord on August 30th, 1998.

Verse from the Serenity Prayer:

"God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference."

Bubichki, (my special name for Mum) I love and miss you more than words could ever express, and you will always be forever in my heart.

This is a prayer that our Mother carried with her at all times…….

A Prayer For Today

"Every day I need thee Lord, but this day especially. I need some extra strength to face whatever is to be….This day more than any day I need to feel Thee near – to fortify my courage and to overcome my fear.

By myself I cannot meet the challenge of the hour, there are times when human creatures need a higher power to help them bear what must be borne. And so, Dear Lord, I Pray – hold on to my trembling hand and be with me today. “
