Turbo was a Newfoundland and true to his breed he was stoic, kind, gentle, intelligent, loyal and a wonderful friend.
Sadly, our baby is no longer with us and his death has devastated our entire family.
He was our loyal friend and companion for 12 years and our household will never be the same again, we all loved Turbo very much and he returned in kind a thousand fold.
To say he was unique would be an understatement, his antics kept us amused daily. He was such a big part of our family life.
We love you, Turbo. We know you are at peace now, but we will never forget you.
Old Dogs Never Die
We have a secret, you and I,
That no one else shall know.
For who, but I, can see you lie,
Each night, in fire aglow?
And who but I can reach my hand
Before we go to bed,
And feel the living warmth of you
And touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths,
And see, ahead of me,
Your small form racing with the wind,
So young again and free.
And only I can see you swim
In every book I pass.
And, when I call, no one but I
Can see the bending grass.
