Please
Honor
Our
Nation
On
Wednesday,
September
11,
2002,
it
will
be
the
1st
Anniversary
of
9/11/01.
Everyone
in
our
great
nation
who
will
be
driving
a
motor
vehicle
is
asked
to drive
with
his
or
her
headlights
on
during
daylight
hours.
Also,
On
Wednesday,
Sept.
11th
please
try
to
wear
some
red,
white
and
blue
to
your
place
of
employment
or
to
school
to
show
your
support
for
those
who
lost
their
lives
on
as
well
as
to
honor
our
heroes,
the
Firemen,
Policemen
and
the
civilians
who
worked
with
their
“hearts”
trying
to
save
or
locate
the
victims
in
the
debris,
for
we
can
never
thank
them
enough.
On
this
day
at
12.00
mid-day
(your
time
zone)
please
stop
what
you
are
doing
and
place
your
hand
on
your
heart,
and
recite
the
“Pledge
of
Allegiance”
whether
it
be
with
your
co-workers,
friends,
teachers
or
alone
out
loud
or
quietly
to
yourself.
If
we
all
as
a
nation
do
this
in
every
time
zone
here
and
around
the
world,
we
will
have
a
powerful
chain
of
prayers,
remembrance
and
love
connecting
us
all,
for
we
were
all
affected
by
this
tragedy.
We
need
to
pray
for
the
safe
return
of
our
troops,
and
to
Pray
for
peace,
to
pray
for
our
President
and
to
pray
for
an
end
to
hate
and
prejudice.
From
the
Presidential
Prayer
Team:
PRAYER FOCUS: Pray today for the families and loved ones of the brave firefighters,
police and emergency workers who lost their lives at the World Trade Center.
PRAYER: Dear God, we pray today for those whose hearts ache for the loss
suffered on 911. Thank You for the courage and dedication of the brave
firefighters, police officers and emergency workers who were willing to risk their
own lives to protect others. Thank You for the shining example of courage
showed by all men and women in uniform. Bring comfort to those who feel
empty and alone as a result. We pray that their families will know Your peace.
Comfort them with Your love and help them to feel Your presence
Bless
us
all,
0
Lord,
we
pray,
for
loved
ones
left
behind
and
for
the
souls
of
Our
dearly
departed.
Dear
Lord,
keep
our
nation
safe
each
day
and
night;
Hear
us
O
Lord,
bring
healing
to
the
injured
and
the
wounded.
Grant
us
The
strength
to
face
our
enemies
and
turn
their
hatred
into
love.
Protect
Us
from
evil
and
bring
us
peace.
This
we
ask
in
your
name.
Lord,
make
me
an
instrument
of
Your
peace.
Where
there
is
hatred,
let
me
sow
love;
where
there
is
injury,
pardon;
where
there
is
doubt,
faith;
where
there
is
despair,
hope;
where
there
is
darkness,
light;
where
there
is
sadness,
joy.
O,
Divine
Master,
grant
that
I
may
not
so
much
seek
to
be
consoled
as
to
console;
to
be
understood
as
to
understand;
to
be
loved
as
to
love;
For
it
is
in
giving
that
we
receive;
it
is
in
pardoning
that
we
are
pardoned;
it
is
in
dying
that
we
are
born
again
to
eternal
life.
